Forte Residence

Location is Smithfield RI a Kuhns Bros. Log Home from Tranquil Log Homes, Inc. (Joe Walsh). This house is 5000 sq ft and has a heat load of 70,710 Btu/Hr when it is 0°F outside. The underlayment method was used in this home. This was the first Log Home we have done. We had to get creative for the second floor because the flooring is the finished ceiling on the first floor.

Lee Residence

This 4,023 sq ft house is located in Glocester RI. We teamed up with the folks at TACO on this one! It is a Lindal Cedar Home built by Carriage House Custom Homes. Steve Tougas did another great job here. The underlayment method was used here with most of the house being hardwood floors. The Heat load for this house will be around 44,056 Btu/Hr. Design water temperature running through the tubing for this system is 94°F when it is 0°F outside. The system is controlled by TACO controls and is set up to let the outside temperature control the water temperature running through the tubing. ( Like cruise control on your car) The owner works for TACO and had us use all the TACO products we could and they were easy to work with. Come on in and check it out!

Reads Residence

Located in Hingham Ma. This House is 4,725 sq. ft and uses 13 Radiant Heat zones for heating and a separate zone for heating of a Lap Pool The house also has a separate system for Air Conditioning. The Radiant Heat tubing is installed in a 1½" of concrete underlayment with Tile and Hardwood flooring though out the house. This House required 69,406 BTU's and is provided by a Viessmann Vitodens200 Gas Boiler.

Pasquariello Residence

Located in No. Smithfield RI. This House is 3500 sq. ft and uses Radiant Heat throughout. The method used for this house was underlayment. If anyone say's you can't put hardwood floors down with radiant and underlayment let them check this house out 90% of the flooring is Hardwood. The house is set up for Air Conditioning. Barber Residence

Location is Nantucket Island. This house is just under 3000 sq. ft and uses Under Joist Method. We used a Buderus boiler with a Bock indirect for DHW. The owner of the house who is also the builder loves the systems. Mark Barber is known on Nantucket for over building the house's he builds and we can agree with that. All floor joist were 12" on center which made us get creative to get the 8" tube spacing.
